While we criticize Donald Trump for stirring up stereotypes, we often ignore the strong tendency within us. With engineers, the need for classification and abstract thinking is dominant. A good example is OOP (Object Oriented Programing), which is built on the premise that everything that could be, has to be classified. This rigid doctrine of classification leads to many usability problems and unfulfilled promises.

Here’s the catch-22. Without classification, it’s difficult to move a project forward.
